Celebrate the Children
October 3, 2009: The 2009 CFSC conference was a great success. Gina Schreck was our keynote speaker. She helped us realize that just 2 minutes to de-stress does a world of good in allowing us to get back on task. Throughout the conference, attendees were putting their hand up to their ear and making a flushing motion while thinking, "Whoosh! Let it go!" She reminds us that any situation should be looked at in the light of two questions: 1) ?If this happens to anyone else would it be funny? and 2) Can I learn something from this experience that I can use to help someone else? Slow down; laugh more; see the funny!
Thank You, Vendors
Thanks to our 2009 sponsors and exhibitors. Their contributions reduce the registration
cost of the conference and allow us to put food on the table. Many will be returning in
2010:
Flowers ???
A strange thing to have on a site devoted to child support but it's true. Lehrer's
Flowers ("One who cares, sends Lehrer's") will donate $5 to the Family Support Council
for all orders placed through the following link:
www.thinkflowers.com/cfsc
So if you wish to reward your staff, brown nose the boss, apologize to the spouse,
or wish to celebrate Nederland's Frozen Dead Guy Day, order your bouquet through Lehrer's.
Anybody can use this link. Please support the Council and tell your friends, family,
co-workers, neighbors, and yes even that pesky telemarketer from India where to order
every gift.
And if you are looking for something to celebrate, check this out:
