Hello Child Support Peers!

Having been part of the Colorado Family Support Council (CFSC) for six years, it is truly an honor to serve as the 2025 board president. I am filled with gratitude for this opportunity.

First, I would like to thank all the board members for their hard work and support. Your dedication is valued, and it is because of you that our conference in Loveland will be success.

Since 1974, the Colorado Family Support Council has been committed to promoting and enhancing the understanding of family support issues. The conferences that are held annually allow child support workers to come together so that we may: learn from each other, discuss issues, and allow us to grow professionally.  Every year is an opportunity to take what we learn at conference and positively impact the families and communities we work with.

This year's theme, "Don't Stop Believing," are words that I hope inspire your actions and decisions. Remember not to stop believing that:

  • You do make a difference-To the communities and families that you serve.

  • You are important to our community- Your passion for caring is felt by the people you serve each day.

  • Most of all, continue to believe in yourself! - You can achieve great things!

Together, we can make this year unforgettable and continue to support, uplift, and believe in each other. Thank you for your dedication and together I believe we will make 2025 a great year for CFSC!

Rene Velazquez
2024-2025 CFSC President
