Letter from the 2027 CFSC President

Hello Child Support Professionals,

My career has been dedicated to serving families and supporting the administration of justice. I have worked in child support services for over 12 years, and prior to that I served as a family law paralegal, court judicial assistant, and legal professional. Throughout my career, public service has remained my passion, and it is what ultimately led me to the child support program.

We are hard at work preparing another engaging, educational, and inspiring Child Support Conference, which will be held in beautiful Colorado Springs at The Antlers from June 6, 2027 to June 9, 2027.

This year's theme, "Every Hand Matters. Every Child Benefits," recognizes a simple but powerful truth: every person involved in the child support program plays an important role in improving the lives of children and families.

Whether you are a caseworker, supervisor, attorney, technician, administrator, judicial partner, employer representative, or community partner, your work matters. Every phone call answered, every case reviewed, every order established, every payment collected, and every family assisted contributes to a larger mission. While our responsibilities may differ, we are united by a common purpose: ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive.

No one person, office, county, or agency can accomplish this mission alone.

The work of child support is built on collaboration. Success does not happen because of one individual or one office. It happens because dedicated professionals across jurisdictions, agencies, and disciplines work together to navigate challenges, solve problems, and create pathways to better outcomes for children and families.

This conference is an opportunity to learn from one another, celebrate accomplishments, discuss challenges, and discover innovative ways to better serve the families who rely on us. Through training, networking, and the sharing of best practices, we can continue building stronger partnerships, improving services, and creating brighter futures for the children we serve.

I invite you to join us in Colorado Springs as we celebrate teamwork, collaboration, and the impact that each of us has on the success of our program. Together, we can make this conference a meaningful reminder that when every hand contributes, every child benefits.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Warm regards,

Brandi Snelling
2026-2027 CFSC President
