These bylaws may be altered, amended or repealed, and any new bylaws may be adopted by action of a majority of the members at the annual or special meeting of the general membership, except that any amendment to these bylaws recommended or required by the Internal Revenue Service or the Colorado Department of Revenue, in order for the Corporation to obtain tax exempt status, may be adopted by action of a majority of the Board of Directors at any regularly scheduled, or special meeting of the Board.
Written proposed bylaws changes must be proposed to the Board of Directors at any regularly scheduled, or special meeting of the Board, by the last working day of March each year. If such changes are approved by the general membership at the next annual business meeting, such changes shall become effective immediately.
Bylaws proposed subsequent to the last working day of March each year, and approved by the general membership at the next annual business meeting, shall become effective one year from the date of approval.
